On Friday, May 10, 2024, Strange Fruit Femmes will be partnering with Omaha’s Culxr House for their second Midwest Poetics program of the year.

For those gather at Culxr House you will choose one of Beau Sia’s 30 prompts and write for an hour. You choose the form in which you would like your piece to take shape; short story, poem, song. Please bring something to write with/on and you prefer to meditate for the 40min-1hr writing session that is welcomed as well. The final hour we share together will be an opportunity for writers to introduce themselves and share what they wrote with the group.
